About The RaceMore

Set in the heart of Cardiff’s historic Bay, the Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10K is a flat, fast and friendly event for all ages and abilities. The popular race, which attracts some of the UK’s top athletes, boasts a stunning course around Cardiff Bay.

The route takes in all of Cardiff Bay’s most iconic landmarks, starting and finishing in Roald Dahl Plass and passing the Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, the Pierhead Building, Senedd, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.

It’s a perfect challenge for elite and club athletes as well as those looking to keep fit, raise money for charity or take on their first 10K!

Location: Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff Bay.

Date & Time: Sunday 19 May 2024. The 10K begins at 11:00am, the Junior Races start at 09:30am.

Race Pack and Number: Your race number and a race day guide will be posted to you within a week of the race.

The race forms part of R4W 10K Series, an exciting series of 10K road races hosted across four unique locations in South Wales.

The series for 2024 includes the Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10K, ABP Newport 10K, Ogi Porthcawl 10K and CDF 10K with athletes eligible for prizes when taking part in two or more of the races.

A Multi-Buy Offer is available for runners keen to register for two or more of the races in one year.
